Age-friendly City public consultation process September/October 2014. As part of its continuing commitment to establishing Cork as an Age-Friendly city, public consultations will take place in September and October in community locations throughout the City. Attendance is free and the organising committee comprised of Cork City Council, HSE and Garda Síochána and community organisations welcome the opinions of those interested in having their voices heard in this process. The workshops will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12.30 pm. Teas and coffees will be served on arrival. Workshop on Thursday 25th Sept at Knocknaheeny Youth Centre, Tuesday 30th September at Millenium Hall, Wednesday Oct 1st at Mahon Community Centre and Thursday October 2nd at Ballyphehane Community Centre.
