Unveiling of a mural at the North Monastery Secondary School by the Lord Mayor Cllr Mary Shields. The mural 'Flags of the Mon' was designed by three second year and three third year students, in conjunction with artist Julie Forrester, funded by Cork City Council's Arts in Context and the JCSP Literacy and Numeracy scheme. The school is the first secondary school in Cork to receive the Yellow Flag for Diversity.
