Strictly Come Dancing for Marymount Hospice Ball, Cork Ladies Footballers Geraldine O'Flynn and Norita Kelly with Lisa Madden Miss Universe Ireland pictured at the Launch of the Marymount Hospice Ball at the Kiln, One of Cork’s biggest events and highlight of the social calendar, the Marymount Hospice Ball, will have people dancing the night away for a very worthy cause on Friday, December 5, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island. Each year this event gets bigger and better as does the generation of funds, the number of attendees, the excitement and enthusiasm in the lead-up, and the fun and entertainment on the evening. Top class entertainment together with an opulently decorated venue promotes a great experience and atmosphere for guests each year, with the attendance of over 400 people.This is the seventh year of the Marymount Ball and, to date, the event has raised in excess of €600,000 towards funding and maintaining the ongoing work the hospice provides in palliative and respite care to the sick and elderly.
