Dr Helen Lynch and Eithne Hunt , High achieving occupational therapy lecturers from the Department of Occupational Therapy at University College Cork have recently received numerous consecutive UCC President’s Awards due to their innovative forms of teaching. Occupational Therapy promotes people’s health and well-being and enables them to participate in the activities of everyday life despite ill-health, disability or other obstacles in their environment. Occupational Therapy is about doing, which is reflected in the hands on and dynamic curriculum within the Department of Occupational Therapy at UCC.
