CEO Cork Simon and Kathleen Lynch TD Minister of State of Health, launching Cork SimonÕs Annual eReport for 2013 at T’r na nîg in Blackrock, one of Cork SimonÕs High-Support Houses. The Annual eReport highlights the increasing pressure on all of Cork SimonÕs services, with a 16% increase in the number of people supported and an 8% increase in the number of people sleeping rough in 2013. This trend accelerated dramatically throughout 2014 with a 62% increase in the number of people sleeping rough in Cork so far this year. The report is available online at www.corksimon.ie/2013
