Dr. Cliona Murphy G.P. has won the Enterprise Ireland – Cleveland Clinic Clinical Innovation Award 2014 for her work to develop a new vascular surgery device which will potentially make it easier for doctors to access the body during vascular surgery. Dr. Keith O’Neill, Director of Life science & Food Commercialisation, Enterprise Ireland and Gary Fingerhut, Executive Director, Cleveland Clinic Innovations presented Dr. Murphy (from Macrom Co. Cork) with her award at the Medical Technology Industry Excellence Awards in the Strand Hotel, Limerick.
