Russian Press Group on a Wild Atlantic Way Tour

A group of top Russian journalists were in Cork this week as part of a media trip organised by F‡ilte Ireland. The group are pictured in Kinsale and also visited Cobh and Ballymaloe House before heading on for Tipperary and finishing in Dublin.

Key Russian media arrived in Ireland last week to take part in a journey of a lifetime along the Wild Atlantic Way, IrelandŐs first long-distance touring route. An extensive itinerary showcasing the Wild Atlantic Way was put together by F‡ilte Ireland and the group spent time with Martin Shanahan, Fishy Fishy restaurant in the beautiful surrounds of IrelandŐs Best Small Tourism Town, Kinsale. F‡ilte Ireland has invested Ű10 million during 2014 in the route which stretches from the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork and already the new attraction is garnering significant interest overseas.
