Story wrt collapsed weir at Ballincollig Regional

Park on Friday 19th December 2014. The collapse of the weir on the River Lee has resulted in a drop of the level of the river at the canal entry point and the canals of the park are drying up. Live fish were being retrieved by staff of Inland Fisheries for transter from the canal network back into the main river.
