Returning to Cork for the Christmas holidays from destinations across the globe, guests met up with fellow alumni and friends at UCC.
Dr Michael Murphy, President of UCC greeted those present and told them of the exciting year ahead at UCC which marks the bicentenary of the birth of George Boole, described as the “father of the information age”. Dr Murphy told guests about UCC’s plans to host an extensive programme of events and conferences for schools, academics and for the public throughout the year.
