Mahon Point Shopping Centre is celebrating its 10th Birthday on Sunday 1st February 2015, with a range of free activities and entertainment across the month for it’s shoppers to enjoy including fireworks, Ireland’s biggest birthday cake and Spring Summer fashion shows.

The fun begins at 3pm on Sunday 1st February when the party kicks off with Rio-style street entertainers from Ireland’s premier Brazilian music and dance collective, Ma Samba and local vocal talent from the budding popstars of Voiceworks Cork.

The largest birthday cake in Ireland will be unveilled in the centre by a team of bakers from homegrown business, Cakes by Ruth. The giant speciality confection which would not be out of place on TV show “Cake Boss”, can then be sampled by up to 1000 loyal customers.
