Sarah Lockhart from Col‡iste Choilm with Dr Aisling OÕDriscoll, Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Computing in CIT visiting students in Colaiste Cholim, Ballincollig in advance of the Inspiring Women in STEM (I Wish) event being held on February 12th in the Cork Institute of Technology Bishopstown campus on the 12th of February.
I WishÕ aims to address the issues that face female students, their parents and teachers, when it comes to choosing subjects and making career choices in secondary school.
I Wish is a partnership initiative between Cork Chamber, it@cork, Cork City Council and Cork County Council, UCC and CIT to inspire and encourage young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (Stem).
