Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr Mary Shields and her husband Michael in the company of Maggie Breathnach of Red Shoe Productions, pictured at Gradam Ceoil TG4 2015 (Traditional Music Awards) at the Cork Opera House on Sunday 22 February. The event was broadcast live on TG4 for the very first time. A trad music trail also took place throughout the city over the weekend, and an Exhibition of Photography by Clare Keogh celebrating former Gradam Ceoil recipients and their musical traditions will run at Cork City Hall until 13 March.
