NOTE; THIS IS A SPECIAL SOLAR TELESCOPE. Eye safety is very important! DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN DURING THE PARTIAL ECLIPSE.
Frances McCarthy, Education and Outreach Office setting up for viewing the partial solar eclipse with a special Coronado solar telescope and Sunspotter projector. 
PUBLIC EVENT; Join BCO astronomers and the Cork Astronomy Club for an open public event to safely view and learn about the partial solar eclipse. Taking place from 8:30 – 10:30am there will be 10 solar stations set-up in in the lower carpark at Blackrock Castle Observatory.
It is a free open event, and no booking is required.
