Olympics Munster held a reception at their Cork office (Unit 3 Cleve Business Park) to honour the 13 Special Olympics Munster athletes who were part of the Ireland team that competed at the recent World Summer Games in Los Angeles, USA. ten of the thirteen competitors attended the reception, with family and friends, and coaches.
Ger Leahy, Cork Special Olympics Swimming Club, Fidlema and son, swimming medal winner Sean Coleman, and Sgt Michaela Moloney, Henry Street, Limerick at the reception.
