Olympics Munster held a reception at their Cork office (Unit 3 Cleve Business Park) to honour the 13 Special Olympics Munster athletes who were part of the Ireland team that competed at the recent World Summer Games in Los Angeles, USA. Nine of the thirteen competitors (from Munster) attended the reception, with family, friends, and coaches.
Colm Monahan proudly shows off a framed photo of himself with Taoiseach Enda Kenny, after it was presented to him by Eoin O'Beara, Regional Director, Special Olympics Munster.
Framed photos were presented to each athlete by Special Olypics Munster.
