Irish Historic Flight Foundation briefing at Cork Airport. Eoin English story. The Iolar and three De Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk aircraft were at Cork airport. Guests were treated to flights on the historic aircraft as part of a briefing on the IHFF, which was established in December 2014 to celebrate Ireland's rich aviation heritage. The Foundation has the support from the likes of the Air Corps, Department of Defence, Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Stobart Air, The Irish Aviation Authority and a team of dedicated volunteers and are planning to open a dedicated 'Aviation Experience' Centre at Baldonnel in 2017.
