(3 of 4; SEQUENCE OF FOUR SHOTS) Corinthians goalkeeper Alan
Kelleher dives during the penalty shoot-out. The 'keeper was beaten and the ball went over the line, rebounding back out of goal after hitting the back metal stanction. Such was the pace of the ball and of the rebound that it was hard to tell with just the naked eye what post had been hit, and was ruled to be a miss by the referee.
It took extra-time and penalties to separate the two teams with Corinthians winning amid controversy over one Carrigaline penalty which the referee deemed to be a miss.
