John Looney is presented with

his prize by Lord Mayor Cllr Chris O'Leary and Mayor of Cork County Cllr Jean Paul O'Shea with (left) Miriam O'Callaghan, master of ceremonies at the Cork Person of the Year Awards lunch at the Rochestown Park Hotel on Friday 15th January 2016. The overall winner is John Looney, from Togher, founder of Cork City Hospitals Children's Club, which have been enhancing the lives of ill children over the past 23 years.
