Dr Colm Quirke with some of the letters his father received as the organiser of the 1966 fiftieth commemoration of 1916 in Drinagh, specifically around the death in the GPO in 1916 of Sean Hurley from Drinagh - only Corkman to die during the rising in the GPO. Colm found a load of his father's correspondence from 1966, including letters from a guy who fought next to Hurley in the GPO and from Tom Barry of Flying Columns fame.
