CORK Big Heart Fight Night 2017
It is almost time for the fourth annual Big Heart Fight Night which will take place in the conference Centre of the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, on 18 March from 7pm.

This fundraiser is a firm fixture in the Cork events’ calendar and the 2017 showdown will not disappoint as once again the Irish Heart Foundation promises to stage an exciting event which is sure to get the heart pumping.

The Irish Heart Foundation is working locally and nationally to reduce the biggest causes of death in our country, namely heart disease and stroke, which claim almost 10,000 lives every year. “Our slogan is fighting heart disease and stroke and our big hearted fighters help to do this – quite literally! As a national charity, largely funded by public and corporate donations, events like this are vital to raise funds to support our work,” say organisers.

All the boxers have been training with the famous Dan Lane (Rylane Boxing Club) up in the cork County Boxing Centre in Churchfield, where they have been learning to box, while fundraising for an important cause. Their fundraising and all money from the ticket sales will fund the Irish Heart Foundation’s heart attack and stroke symptoms awareness campaign.

It’s sure to be a fantastic night so come along to cheer on these fighters! You can purchase tickets on Eventbrite, on the night of the event or contact Regional Manager Anne Riordan at 086-852 0199 or at ariordan@irishheart.ie
