Scoil Mhuire Naofa Carrigtwohill, Co Cork is situated in the village of Carrigtwohill, East Cork, half way between Cork City and Midleton. It is a school with a Christian ethos, under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Cloyne with classes from Junior Infants to Sixth class, with pupils between the ages of four and thirteen. Author Michael Smith was a special guest at the school for the 60th anniversary celebrations, pictured here with 1st class pupils Luke Guerin, Eghosa Oduware, Conor Coughlan and Ben McCarthy dressed as Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.
