Helen Ryan, Cork College of Commerce with Brid O'Connor, City North College, pictured at the Cork Education and Training Cork (CETB) Placement in Industry Programme review and development event. CETB met with key Cork companies across a range of industries to review and develop their pilot Placement in Industry Programme for teachers and tutors in the CETB Further Education and Training colleges/centres. Held in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, CETB Chief Executive Ted Owens, John Fitzgibbons, Director of Further Education and Training and Mary Lenihan, CETB Industry Liaison Officer met with companies such as Eli Lilly, DELL/EMC, Flextronics, Syncreon and Dawson Travel to name but a few, to assess and analyse the current programme and work together to build on its success for the future.
