Patricia Murphy from Glasheen gets a kiss of good luck from Ruadh Pierce, aged 4, from Bishopstown as she set off on the 19th annual Tour de Munster Charity Cycle in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland at Cork City Hall on Thursday, August 8th.

Cycling legend Sean Kelly led over 100 amateur cyclists as they set off from City Hall on the four day, 600km charity cycle around the six counties of Munster, culminating on Patrick’s Hill in Cork City on Sunday, August 11th, with proceeds going to Down Syndrome Ireland (Munster Branches), as well as a number of individual beneficiaries.
