Press Release

Orchard Thieves’ Launch ‘Steals’ the Show with Jape

New cider, Orchard Thieves has arrived in Ireland and to celebrate, it invited 250 bold Corkonians to follow the paw prints to Cork’s boldest, one-night only bar, the ‘Den of Thieves’. Guests were invited to thieve some refreshingly crisp Orchard Thieves Cider and be entertained by world famous music talent, Jape.
The launch of Orchard Thieves in Cork was no ordinary night, from the minute guests entered the ‘Den of Thieves’, their boldness was rewarded as the bandit Gatekeeper provided them with dare cards. Those who were brave enough acted out the dares throughout the night!
The theme of mischief continued throughout the evening as guests were invited to share their most mischievous moments with Orchard Thieves via the #BeBold hashtag and an artist illustrated their tweets, live. If guests were not divulging their daring moments, they were getting up close and personal with a stranger in the photobooth, where they had to get snapped with a stranger.
Sharon Walsh, Marketing Director, HEINEKEN Ireland, said of the launch; “The Cork launch event was all about bringing our mischievous and bold personality to life, and rewarding the fans that were bold enough to take part. We were delighted to welcome Jape to the Den, he was the perfect addition!”

Orchard Thieves is a refreshingly new cider brand created by HEINEKEN Ireland. Crafted from the perfect mix of crisp and tart apples, Orchard Thieves has been designed specifically for Irish taste buds and is available on draught, in cans, pint bottles or 330ml bottles in bars and off-licences nationwide.

Fans can also try to thieve a pint of this distinctive cider online at www.denofthieves.ie where the mischievous fox will tempt you to #BeBold.
