Kate Hogan of Blackrock and Annah MacSweeney of Dylans Cross at a candlelight walk organised by UCC Security in aid of BUMBLEance.

Christmas came early to UCC on Thursday 11 December with Shiverfest. UCC hosted a fundraising candlelight walk organised by UCC Security, led by Steven Barrett and Alan Aherne and Voiceworks Studio, in aid of BUMBLEance, the world’s first interactive ambulance service designed specifically for children. UCC students, staff and members of the public who turned out were serenaded by buskers and carol singers dotted around the Christmas music trail and even Santa visited by motorbike. A number of local schools also took part. VoiceWorks Studio performed a free Christmas concert the amount raised so far is €4600
