Anne Dunphy from The Wilcollane singers in the Everyman Theatre rehearsing for “The Events”, the acclaimed play by David Greig, starring internationally celebrated Irish actor Derbhle Crotty. “The Events” asks how far forgiveness can go in the face of atrocity within one’s own community.

Presented by Actors Touring Company, London, the play includes different local choirs at every performance and a soaring soundtrack from Cork-born composer John Browne. The local choirs performing as part of the show in Cork are - The Wilcollane Singers, Choral Con Fusion and Voices of Cork. “The Events” runs exclusively at The Everyman for four nights only from September 24th to 27th.
