CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory, Cork and the Dunsink Observatory, Dublin are running a competition for primary and 2nd level schools to win space themed workshops at their venues. Deadline for entries is the 25.9.14. All competition details are on www.bco.ie

Charity Cycle “The Pat Casey Memorial Cycle” in aid of the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association and The Respiratory Department, CUH; 150 km from Cork to Limerick (via Tipperary) on Saturday, returning on Sunday.
Cyclists Stephen Murphy, Gurranabraher; and Dan Leahy, Karl Horgan and Jamie O'Connell from Douglas line up at the start. Approx. thirty cyclists took part in the event.
