Launch of the Cork Rokk Choir Charity Christmas song 'Oh Christmas Night', in aid of the Lets Get Together Foundation at City Hall.
Deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Nicholas O'Keeffe with choir members, Cllr Kieran McCarthy, songwriter Richard T Cooke and Catherine Courtney at the launch. Cork Rokk Choir was established in 2011 and has approx twenty members, was co-founded by Eileen and Laura Jayne O'Keeffe and directed by Dee Moriarty. The group meet every Monday in Blackrock H&F Club from 7pm -8;30pm. The CD is available from choir members, Blackrock Post Office, Red Cove Inn, and at SuperValu Blackrock on 5th December 2014.

The CD is available from choir members, at Blackrock Post Office, also at The Red Cove Inn, and at SuperValu Blackrock during a fundraiser at the store on 5th December 2014.

 **** NO REPRODUCTION FEE *** DUBLIN : 26/111/2014 : Pictured is prominent deaf awareness campaigner Quaid Cleland (10), Katie McGuanne (age 11) from Mid-west School for the Deaf in Limerick awith Santa Claus. Quaid’s Christmas dream came true at the RDS today when a group of deaf children were greeted by a sign language Santa at the Christmas Toy Show. Quaid made headlines in August after it was revealed that he was lobbying RTÉ to use sign language during The Late Late Toy Show. More than 50 children from St Joseph’s and St Mary’s schools for the deaf in Cabra, the Mid-west School for the Deaf in Limerick and children from the Our New Ears support group met with Santa Claus at the Christmas Toy Show.
