Issued Friday, 13 February 2015: Bank of Ireland is delighted to announce that the regional finalists for the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture Recycling Fashion Competition 2015 in association with Repak have been announced. The competition is Ireland’s leading fashion and art competition for second level students. The All Ireland competition is now in its fifth year and aims to spark students’ imaginations; encouraging them to create unique, original and innovative outfits from recycled materials and junk.

Today Bank of Ireland branch managers surprised students across the country by visiting their schools along with GAA stars and presented students with a Silver Ticket to the upcoming regional final in their area. Students Morgan de Fournas and Yanting Wang from Sacred Heart Secondary School, Clonakilty, were presented with their Silver Ticket for their entry ‘Andromeda’, by Geraldine Galvin, Clonakilty Branch Manager.

Bank of Ireland is proud to sponsor the Junk Kouture Recycling Fashion Competition as it provides young people with a unique opportunity to develop new design techniques, styles, and hone their craft in creating one off designs from recycled material. Four regional heats will take place at The Helix, Dublin 6th March 2015, Millennium Forum, Derry/Londonderry 9th March 2015, The Royal Theatre, Castlebar 11th March 2015 and University Concert Hall, Limerick, 13th March 2015. The Grand Final will feature the top 80 dresses and will take place at the 3Arena, Dublin on 24th April 2015.

 Silver Ticket Surprises for Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture Regional Finalists

Issued Friday, 13 February 2015: Bank of Ireland is delighted to announce that the regional finalists for the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture Recycling Fashion Competition 2015 in association with Repak have been announced. The competition is Ireland’s leading fashion and art competition for second level students. The All Ireland competition is now in its fifth year and aims to spark students’ imaginations; encouraging them to create unique, original and innovative outfits from recycled materials and junk.

Today Bank of Ireland branch managers surprised students across the country by visiting their schools along with GAA stars and presented students with a Silver Ticket to the upcoming regional final in their area. Students Morgan de Fournas and Yanting Wang from Sacred Heart Secondary School, Clonakilty, were presented with their Silver Ticket for their entry ‘Andromeda’, by Geraldine Galvin, Clonakilty Branch Manager.

Bank of Ireland is proud to sponsor the Junk Kouture Recycling Fashion Competition as it provides young people with a unique opportunity to develop new design techniques, styles, and hone their craft in creating one off designs from recycled material. Four regional heats will take place at The Helix, Dublin 6th March 2015, Millennium Forum, Derry/Londonderry 9th March 2015, The Royal Theatre, Castlebar 11th March 2015 and University Concert Hall, Limerick, 13th March 2015. The Grand Final will feature the top 80 dresses and will take place at the 3Arena, Dublin on 24th April 2015.
