RAPUNZEL, the timeless fairytale of the girl with the beautiful hair, will be performed by Cork School of Dance in Firkin Crane Theatre from Friday December 12th – Sunday December 14th - a magical show!
Produced and directed by Irish choreographer and acclaimed dance teacher Sinéad Murphy, the production showcases the wealth of talent in Cork School of Dance.
Featuring Zoe Gibson, Kate Sampson and Emma Teahan as Rapunzel in the three stages of her journey through life, this is a fresh take on a classic story of good versus evil. Mike Cahill, who has just completed a run with the Liam O Connor show in Killarney is the handsome Prince and aerial dance artist Susan Cox is the wicked witch, casting her spells from above.
Once again the creative team at Cork School of Dance, led by Sinead Murphy and Tim Feehily, have combined captivating choreography with magnificent costumes, lighting design, music and sets.
Join the young dancers from Cork School of Dance for an evening of enchantment and delight.
Tickets for Rapunzel are available online at www.firkincrane.ie or from the Firkin Crane Box Office on 021 4507487
The Cork School of Dance is based in the Firkin Crane, the home of dance in Cork, and offers a range of classes in Classical Ballet, Modern and Jazz dance for all ages.
