The Papal Flag and Tricolour fly at half-mask at the St Mary's on the Hill, Knocknaheeny as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in the Carrickmines fire tragedy and deceased Garda Tony Golden who was killed in the line of duty. Cllr Tony Fitzgerald and Canon Liam O'Driscoll with parishioners paying their respects and saying prayers for the deceased.
