LC-ambassador-05
EE 08/02/2018. Mount Mercy College; The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Mrs Deike Potzel, visited our students of German on Thursday, 8th February, 2018.
Ambassador Potzel presented her letters of credentials to President Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin on the 19th December 2017, continuing to strengthen links between Ireland and Germany. She is the first female German ambassador to Ireland and hence will make history by visiting Mount Mercy College. This is a very special occasion as Mount Mercy College will be the first all-girls school in Ireland to be visited by the first female German Ambassador to Ireland.
