The current Irish Olympic team rower and World Cup Silver Medalist Sanita Puspure was guest speaker and raised the green flag in front of the 442 pupils and staff.

Pupils were encouraged to walk, cycle, scoot or run to school as part of the 'travel' green flag programme, run by An Taisce.
